To see Jesus glorified in everything we do – in preaching the gospel and seeing lives
transformed by God's word and spirit; in serving the community and reaching out to all including the poor and marginalised; in actively encouraging and promoting mission throughout the world to extend God's kingdom.

Our Values

We are hungry to know God's presence, hear His voice and follow hard after Him, with the aim to trust Him in all things. (Ps 63:1-3 and 27:4).

In submitting to God's authority we desire to understand the doctrine and be obedient to the precepts (2 Tim 3:16). Therefore we value clear Bible-based preaching.

We embrace any chance to offer our praise to God (Eph 5:19) exercising the priesthood of all believers, singing in the Spirit, understanding and singing new songs (1 Cor 14:15, 26).

We recognise the importance of being filled with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18),using the Gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12: 4-11) and seeing the Fruit of the Holy Spirit outworked through our lives (Galatians 5:22-2).

We recognise the privilege that every believer has to be the vehicle for God's prophetic word and our responsibility to weigh and obey what we hear (1 Cor 14:31 and 1 Thess 5:20).

It is important to us to speak the truth, deal honestly and live uprightly (1 John 1:8-10 and Eph 4:15).

We believe that grace is fundamental to all that God does in salvation. We, therefore, aim to extend mercy to one another  (Rom 3:23-24 and Col 3:12-13).

We desire to see God's rule on the earth, demonstrated by His Church moving in wisdom and power (Matt 6:10).

We believe that prayer is essential, because it is our primary means of communion with God, and because it is God's primary means of accomplishing His purposes (Eph 6:18).

We aim to develop a family atmosphere of ease and to speak, act and dress in ways to which our culture can respond positively (1 Cor 9:19-23).

We aim first to grow as disciples of Christ ourselves and then to make disciples of others (Matt 28:18-20; Col 1:28 and 2 Tim 1:8-12).

We value every person and aim to work together to build the Church through maintaining mutual respect, determined co-operation, and believing and speaking the best about each other (1 Cor 13:4-7 and Rom 15:7).

We believe that Christ has given authority in their spheres to elders and ministries. This authority is derived from and subject to God's Word and must be exercised in humility and selflessness (Mark 10:42-45; Phil 2:5-8 and Eph 4:11).
