Life Groups
Tuesday
Derek & Linda's life group
A

Tuesday evening with us - we are a cheery, honest and typically ordinary group, varying in age and Christian experience. We endeavour to be open with and supportive of each other, studying the Bible with plenty of laughter and occasionally intellectual input. We value relationships and as well as being very friendly to newcomers, we try to be down to earth with each other. Despite Derek's corny jokes, the excellent weekly cakes encourage us to press on towards our goal of seeing the Kingdom of God come among us.
Wednesday
Crispin & Sue's life group
Our group meets on Wednesday evenings when there is always a light-hearted and friendly atmosphere with plenty of lively chat, coffee and biscuits. This is followed by discussion, normally about the previous Sunday's sermon. We are also following a fascinating series on church history. Thanks to the warm relations within the group our discussions always feel honest and open. The group is a safe place where everyone says what they feel and if we don't 'get' something, we say so!
Colin & Ruth's life group

We meet at the church manse (119 Peppard Road) most Wednesdays from 8pm. Colin is from N. Ireland, Ruth is French, they met in Scotland and we have someone from Zimbabwe in our group too. (We do also have people from England just in case you wondered!) Food often features as part of our times together. So we've had a Burn's Supper, a raclette (French grilled cheese meal), been ten pin bowling (after having some food) and on picnics to Henley together as a group ... Did we mention that we like food!
Thursday
Nick, Rosemarie & Sally's life group
We meet on Thursdays to worship God, study the Bible and pray as well as spending time together socially. We are a mixture of ages; some of us are retired and some work, doing a variety of jobs including a farmer, care worker and librarian. Our meetings are also a mixture - fun and serious, light-hearted and thought-provoking. Our aim is to mature in our walk with Jesus as we meet together; to build our relationships with each other and with God.
